The center piece of the area is New Hampshire's 5th largest lake, Lake Sunapee. With over 70 miles of shore line shared by the surrounding towns of Sunapee, Newbury, and New London, Lake Sunapee has been the vacation home destination for many in the neighboring New England states, New York, New Jersey and beyond.
While Lake Sunapee is most known, the area is blessed with several beautiful lakes and ponds, Pleasant Lake, Little Lake Sunapee, Mountain View Lake, Perkins Pond, Ledge Pond, Chalk Pond, Otter Lake, and others.
The combination of Lake Sunapee and Mt Sunapee make the Kearsarge- Lake Sunapee region of western central New Hampshire well known by our southern neighbors. In the early 1900's, with trains coming from Boston, the steam boats at the Newbury harbor, and hotels and lodges around the lake, this was a summer destination for many. Today, the towns swell in the summer, the lake comes alive, and a raft of summer events get started.

Exclusively Your Agent
Are you in the market to buy real estate in the Lake Sunapee area? If the answer is yes, how are you going to get started? Have you explored your options? What about having an exclusive buyer agent working for you?
What's the difference? There's a big difference for having your exclusive buyer agent. Think of the process of buying real estate this way, when you contact the listing agent to inquire about a property, you're essentially contacting a salesperson for that property. That persons job is to sell you that property for the seller. Now, if I were your buyer agent, my job would be to help you decide if it was the right property, what a fair price would be, and to help negotiate to make it happen.
